Sometimes we want to know the forces on riders from wind, grade, rolling resistance, and wheel drag. This model returns a table with this information.
Units are expressed in gram-force (gmf), the force exerted by one gram under standard gravity, 9.8 m/s2. This unit is used because people commonly quote drag in "grams", and this is the "grams" they mean. (Gram is a unit of mass; gram-force is a unit of force.)
